If you want a real grinder don't get this.If you want something portable and easy to use it's fine,but don't expect to get much work out of it.It was marginally easier than a hacksaw to cut through a piece of sheet metal on a job(using a cutting disc), but easier nonetheless.I was able to hold the piece with pliers and slowly cut through it. The motor overloaded and stopped several times but eventually it did it. If I'd had a vise and a good hacksaw it may have been as fast, but I was out on a job not in my shop,and I didn't have a real grinder with me,though, with a real grinder I'd prefer to use a vise rather than pliers.I do like the li-ion battery system though,and if I completely lose my patience with the tool I'll make it into a 12 volt lighting system for my bike!

While this doesn't have the power or long life battery that some higher priced units have, it is more than sufficient for me. I use it to cut off nails that no longer have heads on them and can't be removed any other way. It makes short work of them and does so quite well.I won't recommend this for major jobs or heavy use, but for use around the home it is just fine.

Great little tool for household use. Switch is a bit tight. Clamped all work and wore safety glasses. Tried cutting a small piece of steel. Very smooth operation.
